Information: 24V Crankshaft Nut Socket

On the new 24 valve 164 engine, the front crankshaft pulley must be removed when replacing the timing belt (P/N 60561244).
In order to remove the crankshaft pulley, the water pump pulley and the aux., belt idler pulley (to the right of the crankshaft) must be removed.
Due to the clearance limitations a thin wall 41 mm 6pt chrome socket must be. used.

Note: You must unstake the crankshaft nut before. removal and replace with a new nut (P/N 60507302). Torque the new nut to 173.3 ft lbs. and stake.
