Information: Timing Belt Tensioner Tool

When servicing the timing belt on the 24 valve engine. A special locking pin must be used to lock the tension assembly in position before removing the timing belt (see pages 00-36 & 01-79 of the 1994 service manual).
The 1.5mm (1/16") locking pin is not supplied by Alfa Romeo. Fabricate this
tool (actual size shown below) using commonly available, 1/16" welding rod.
