In some isolated instances, coolant seepage may occur at engine gasket or cooling system hose connections. If seepage is not the result of improper hose clamp or fastener torque, it is recommended that cooling system additive Part Number O0639-99262 be placed into the cooling system.

After installation of the additive, for future reference, mark the cooling system cap with touch-up paint as follows:

WHITE TOUCH-UP PAINT = ONE DOSE OF ADDITIVE

RED TOUCH-OP PAINT = SECOND DOSE HAS BEEN ADDED

When adding additive be sure that:

  1. Engine is Is fully wnrmed up.
  2. Heater system is set to maximum hot.
  3. Allow to circulate for 15-20 minutes.

IF COOLING SYSTEM SEEPAGE PERSISTS AFTER TREATMENT CONTACT YOUR DISTRICT SERVICE MANAGER BEFORE PROCEEDING FURTHER WITH THE REPAIR.
