The inner fender gravel-shields are an important protection barrier for the engine/power train.
Any modification or alteration to these gravel-shields can cause ingress of foreign material and consequential damage to drive line components/drive belts.
DO NOT MODIFY OR ALTER INNER FENDER GRAVEL-SHIELDS IN ANY WAY!
Warrantable component failures which are found to be caused by the modification or alteration of an inner fender gravel-shield, will be disallowed. Alfa Romeo will not be responsible for the negative consequences of a unauthorized vehicle modification or alteration.
If during the course of normal service/repairs of a vehicle you discover a shield is modified or altered, it is imperative that the vehicle be restored to the original factory configuration.
A modified or altered shield is not a manufacturing defect. Therefore , it is not covered under the terms of the Alfa Romeo New Car Limited Warranty.
