I was wondering if it was possible to put in a different audio system, or at least face plate. Because I looked at apicture of the dash and there were threee rows of identical looking lights, one of which is apparently for the sound system;. I was just wondering if I could put a cd player in it with a detachable face plate, thanx

There has been a ton of discussions on the options for sound systems in the 164, both the early cars and '94 and later. Check the Tech Notes here on this site, Sandy, on this topic.
